In the framework of Post-Morphosis, an exhibition and dialogue series: Entanglement is an collaborational artistic dialogue where artworks by Alice Morey interact with structures and displays created by Søren August Vallø Jacobsen to take place at >top Schillerpalais, Berlin.
“It is difficult to escape,
bound together like hot glue.
They float on all sides bringing together a rotation of time,
the time that interlinks the parallels.
The structure is the vortex of time,
holding together the matter,
connecting it,
bounding it.
The strips of white plastic move in time with the surface of oils,
interacting.
Twisted turned bounded by materials and physically joined at the hip.
Stretching across to the other side, strapped in like a seat belt.
Strapped down,
Belted, buckled up
Connected over time,
Part of the same memory space,
A space in time,
Pieces,
Segments of the other,
Flopped over, reaching forward.”
